Geographical features

• A pentagon island made of volcanic rocks.
  Establishing a watershed from the center of Seonginbong Peak (984m above the sea level).
  Mountains are precipitous most of land is slanting except for Nari Basin.

Geological features

• A volcanic island erupted from the sea in Cenozoic era 3 and 4. Made out of basalt, quarts trachyte and andesite. Soil is mostly grey one which is very fertile and favorable for water supply.
